Lamson & Goodnow is the oldest most-respected manufacturer of cutlery in the United States, established in Massachusetts in the early 1800's. Due to a demand for bladesmithing experts, Lamson recruited specialists from Solingen, Germany and Sheffield, England to create the finest cutlery tools. Their descendants handcraft tools at the factory to this day. Early designs are still widely used, continuing the legacy of precision craftsmanship.
