This is an amazing, quality made spatula/turner. The turner has a great balance and the handle fits nicely into your hand. The edge is finely honed so it easily slides under food, and the corners are rounded so they don't scrape your pan. It's heavy-duty and won't bend out of shape. It washes easily (hand wash) and because the handle is NSF plastic and the blade is stainless steel, you may soak it overnight without hurting either the handle or the blade. Because the handle is plastic, you cannot rest it in a hot pan or the handle will melt where it contacts the pan edge. An easy solution is to flip it over and rest it so the blade is on the pan edge and the handle is on the cook top. This is a good habit and also works for my all-metal pan tools - with the added bonus of keeping the handles cool so I don't burn myself. Once you have this spatula, you'll put away all the others. I bought 5 in total - 2 for us, and 3 for our kids, since I don't want them taking ours when they move out. I also purchased 5 of the much longer, 6", flexible version of this turner, #33880, great for fish and burgers as it has a longer reach for larger pans. It's being discontinued, so move fast. They just don't make tools like this anymore, so buy them while you can. I give it 10 stars out of a possible 5.
